Episode 3 is here of The Pikey & Loughz Show and on this week's episode of Talkin' Taipans, Chris Pike and Alex Loughton were given plenty to discuss from the Cairns Taipans on the back of a record-breaking 23-point NBL victory over the Perth Wildcats at RAC Arena.

Loughz, one of the Taipans' all-time greats, provides plenty of great insight into how the Taipans were able to get the job done in Perth for their first win of the season and also dissects what the Snakes need to do to keep the momentum going, and why he thinks they are more than capable of achieving that.

Then there is our special guest for this week's show and it's the woman behind the success at the Cairns Taipans, Team Psychologist Jodii Maguire. Having established herself across the country both by working with sporting teams and corporate clients, her impact in Cairns since coming on board has been monumental. Loughz caught up with Jodii for a fascinating chat about what she sees as being the most important tools in helping athletes and teams reach their potential.

Then Loughz and Pikey take a look at a big NBL Round 4 double-header for the Taipans away to the Adelaide 36ers and at home to Melbourne United.
