The Pikey & Loughz Show - Talkin’ Taipans Episode 4

Massive edition of The Pikey & Loughz Show this week with Talkin' Taipans having three big games from the Cairns Taipans to reflect upon along with looking forward to LaMelo Ball coming to town next week and a very special guest.

The show gets underway with Pikey posing some questions to Loughz including if the Taipans were able to make Melo and Melbourne United Trimble at the Knees on Monday night along with getting his thoughts on some recent unsportsmanlike foul calls and the QBL now becoming NBL1 from 2020.

Pikey & Loughz then take an in-depth look at the three Cairns Taipans games over the past week with tight road losses to the Adelaide 36ers and New Zealand Breakers, and a tremendous home victory over Melbourne United.

Loughz also has some thoughts on the goings on at the Illawarra Hawks, Melbourne United, Sydney Kings and Brisbane Bullets that are worth checking out.

It's then time for the special interview of the week as Loughz caught up with former Taipans centre and current courtside announcer Matt Smith. He attracted plenty of attention when interviewed on the NBL TV coverage for wearing sunglasses but find out why they are necessary along with everything the big man has overcome this year along with an entertaining chat on lots of topics between two former Snakes.

Loughz then chimes in with his preview of the rest of the round in the NBL on top of next Saturday's home clash for the Taipans against LaMelo Ball and the Illawarra Hawks.
