The latest edition of The Pikey & Loughz Show is one you don't want to miss. This week's Talkin' Taipans features a special interview with Cairns Taipans co-captain DJ Newbill along with a wrap and preview of all the Snakes action, plus plenty of talking of all the latest basketball news.
NBL writer Chris Pike and former Taipans captain Alex Loughton start off with a look back at the Round 7 NBL victory for the Taipans against the Brisbane Bullets.
It's then time to discuss some of the big news floating around including Brett Brown replacing Andrej Lemanis as coach of the Australian Boomers, and the drama currently surrounding the New Zealand Breakers.
It's then interview time as Loughz catches up with Taipans co-captain, and the mayor of Newbill-ville, DJ Newbill on the back of his standout game against the Bullets which included a thunderous slam over Nathan Sobey, right in front of Loughz.
It's then a full preview of Round 8 of the NBL that sees the Taipans host the Perth Wildcats on Saturday night before playing away to the Illawarra Hawks.
