The Pikey & Loughz Show - Talkin’ Taipans Episode 9

We are back on The Pikey & Loughz Show with the very first episode of Talkin' Taipans for 2020 and there's plenty to talk about regarding the Cairns Taipans.

Co-hosts Chris Pike and Alex Loughton have a look at the recent hot run of the Taipans where they have been on a four-game NBL winning streak to sit in fourth position with an 11-9 record heading towards the #NBL20 playoffs.

There was plenty to discuss from that winning streak including a statement Boxing Day victory in the open-air game against Melbourne United along with a tremendous New Year's Eve performance against South East Melbourne Phoenix at a sold out Cairns Convention Centre.

Then last Friday was a win at home to Brisbane but not without a scare in the last quarter which Loughz shares his thoughts about.

The co-hosts discuss how incredible the import trio of Cam Oliver, Scott Machado and DJ Newbill are performing and then look ahead to this Thursday night in what could be a season-defining clash with the New Zealand Breakers.
