The Cairns Taipans got back to winning in the NBL and we are back on The Pikey & Loughz with Talkin' Taipans to discuss what we liked from while looking ahead to the Snakes heading to Melbourne and we also hear from one of the club's more popular figures, Matt Smith.

The Pikey & Loughz Show begins this week with a look at the two games for the Cairns Taipans in Round 4 of #NBL21.

It started with a tough sixth straight defeat on Saturday against the New Zealand Breakers but then two days later the Snakes produced their best performance of the 2021 NBL season to bounce back and beat the Breakers by 15 points and return to the NBL winner's list.

Loughz provides his unique insight into what he liked from the win including the performances of George Blagojevic, Kouat Noi and Majok Deng to relieve some of the pressure on superstars Cam Oliver and Scott Machado.

Loughz catches up with former Taipans big man and current court announcer Matt Smith as they reflect on their recent triumph and also dissect the way the Snakes are performing this NBL season.
